A First for Ivy Pritchard is the first in a series of Love Stories of The Burlington Bird Club.

Ivy has been alone forever. And she expects to remain that way. She has a successful business, and she has the dedicated group of birders she has spent the last years exploring Vermont with. She has final stopped fretting about her solitary life. And then a surly newcomer began showing up for her monthly bird walks, a bitter man whose one experience of love left him with physical and emotional scars. There is nothing in his face or his words to suggest to Ivy that he could ever show warmth or passion. But when a once-in-a-life-time bird happens to lose its way, thousands of miles from any others of its kind, it forever changes the lives of two lonely people.

The second in the series, Beck's Grouse, is also available now. Beck had to get away: from the endless winter and from memories of one day in the woods. So she asked Charlie, whom she hardly knew, if he would take her along as he followed migrating birds north from Georgia.

The third in the series, Just a Simple Love Affair, will be released this fall.  

A  stand-alone historical romance, The Smell of Sage, will also be released later in 2025.
